Stephen Udry

Professor Stephen Udry has traveled extensively throughout Asia, and has resided in Taiwan, where he taught English for five years. He also has visited China, Japan, Korea, Nepal, Tibet and Thailand. His dissertation was Muttering Mystics: Manchu Shamanism.

Prof. Udry earned his A.B. degree from Columbia College, Columbia University, and his M.A. and Ph.D. from the University of Washington. He joined the Carthage faculty in 2000.
