Paul Zavada earned his B.A. from the University of Wisconsin at Eau Claire; his M.S.T. and M.S.Ed. from the University of Wisconsin at Whitewater; and Ph.D. from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. Professor Zavada has an extensive background in education. He served 14 years as a superintendent of schools, and spent 20 years teaching in public and private schools. He teaches education, special education and educational administration courses. His research interests are teacher induction and teacher career stages. He joined the Carthage faculty in 2005.
