Professor Patrick Pfaffle previously taught graduate and undergraduate-level biology courses at Indiana State University. He has received numerous awards for scientific research, including the National Institutes of Health Academic Research Enhancement Award, the Abbott Laboratories Research Award, and the ISU Proposal Incentive Award. His research has been presented at seminars across the country, and he has published his articles and abstracts in several international publications.
Prof. Pfaffle earned his Ph.D. in 1990 from the Medical College of Wisconsin, Department of Biochemistry. There, he received the Outstanding Dissertation Award from the Friends of the Medical College of Wisconsin. He earned his B.S. in Biology from the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point. He joined the Carthage faculty in 1997.
