David Brunn

  • Rogers Palmer Distinguished Professor of Business Administration

Professor David Brunn has three decades of experience at Arthur Andersen & Co. He was a partner with Andersen Consulting, where he developed financial and manufacturing systems for clients of all sizes, and worked as the global head of Andersen Consulting's Cost Management practice for several years. During his last five years with the firm, he managed several of the largest projects for the firm's Tax Technology Group. He is a CPA, a CMA, and a CPIM.

Prof. Brunn joined the Carthage faculty in 1993, and was named Distinguished Teacher of the Year in 1999. He is a past chair of the Faculty Executive Committee. He chaired the task force that conceived and implemented the Carthage Symposium component of the curriculum. He has devoted himself to improving the career opportunities available to Carthage graduates. Previously he was an adjunct professor at the Lake Forest Graduate School of Management. He holds an M.B.A. from Northwestern University and a B.S. from the University of Pennsylvania.

He lives with his wife, Lyn, in Wilmette, Ill. They have two grown daughters and two granddaughters. He enjoys sailing on Lake Geneva.
