Professor Aviva Rothman is Carthage's first Bradley Fellow. She joined the Carthage faculty to teach Western Heritage courses. Prof. Rothman received a Ph.D. in history in 2012 from Princeton University, where she also earned her M.A. She specializes in the history of science, specifically early modern science and the relationship between science and religion.
"She's a bright young scholar on her way up. She's going to make a great contribution to the Western Heritage program through her ability to infuse scientific discussion into the discussion in the classroom."
